Functional hotel near airport. Beds in double bed rooms are tiny. Food at Velocity was very average and dry. Swimming pool is nice but the hotel staff at the pool are always watching you. Overall staff friendly enough but no warmth. I preferred the Regal Hotel attached to the terminal.

Staff are pleasant and helpful. Prompt service. Hotel bus from airport to hotel and from hotel into Tung Chung are very prompt and bus drivers are helpful. Overall we had a pleasant stay. Swim pool is great.

Unfortunately the shuttle service has recently changed its pickup location from L3 to Terminal 2 without instructions or signs. All information available online or on the website for the shuttle service was still out of date. Calling the toll free phone line ends up talking to an AI bot giving the wrong information. The hotel should have reached out with an email notifying the shuttle bay change, as well as making sure the online PDFs and website info are updated. This ended up wasting us so much time trying to find the shuttle, which is pretty much the only way to go to the hotel.

We couldn’t ask for a better hotel for a 24 hour layover in Hong Kong. They were so accommodating and applied an extra day rate of $75 so that we could check out at 6 p.m. before our late evening flight back to the United States. Their complimentary shuttle buses to the airport and the outlet mall were a huge plus!
