Just got back from a lovely few days. The outside of the property is run down but the areas that matter are lovely. The breakfast was really nice and the pool was an added bonus. Room was lovely and clean. Like the addition of a fridge in the room. Will definitely return when visiting Chester again. Thank you

Enjoyable stay

The room and bathroom were clean and bed comfortable. Unfortunately the air didn't work, and we were told it was being overalled at present. The swimming pool was nice size, water temp okay and the Jacuzzi enjoyably warm. Had dinner on first night and wasn't impressed with the menu options or quality of cooking. Parking free and plenty of spaces. Reception and bar staff friendly and courteous. Overall an enjoyable 4 day stay, and ideally suited for exploring local areas.

Overnight stay

Good location off main arterial road for overnight stay. A bonus is free onsite parking. Excellent customer care and the food and drink in the evening was good with an excellent breakfast buffet in the morning. The rooms could do with a facelift as a bit worn out. A big plus is the request for service charge and not just automatically added to the bit which the Novotel hotel did unfortunately.

A good night’s sleep

The welcome at reception was good and Amanda? was really helpful. The bathroom had been nicely refurbed and was clean. The bedlinen was clean and crisp - very important. I arrived late night and had a good night’s sleep as it was quiet despite its closeness to a busy road. There was plenty of parking available. Unfortunately the EV charging at the hotel was not yet completed, but there were 2 charging points in the nearby business park.

Good stay. Hotel overall was clean and tidy but some of the carpets and paintwork were looking a bit tired. Restaurant food was good and breakfast was excellent
