We`ve lovingly preserved this charming old bakery while transforming it into a romantic sanctuary that perfectly balances historic character with modern luxury. Every detail has been carefully considered to honour the building`s heritage while creating an elevated guest experience.
The landscaped outdoor space, complete with relaxing hot tub, provides the perfect setting to unwind along Chester`s tranquil towpath. Watch narrowboats drift by from the landing where old-world charm meets contemporary comfort.
Chester city centre is just a pleasant 1 mile walk away, or a quick 5-minute taxi ride - giving you the perfect balance of peaceful retreat and easy access to the historic city`s attractions.
You are able to enjoy all areas belonging to the property, the entrance path and courtyard are via a canal towpath.

Please note that the cottage is accessed via the canal towpath, which is a public walking route used by pedestrians, cyclists, and dog walkers. While this provides a unique and peaceful setting, guests should be aware that the nearest road access for unloading your car is approximately a 2-3 minute walk from the cottage entrance.
