Decent hotel, but flawed.

Didn’t eat breakfast there(wasn’t included). Parking was challenging on Saturday night. Coffee maker wasn't fully functional. Bathroom was VERY tight on space, while room was quite large. Sometimes elevator took a long time.Enjoyed the indoor pool and exercise room, but no bathrooms nearby!!

The hotel was very convenient for me. My only issue was the lighting in the room. It was very dim in the bathroom. The housekeeping staff was excellent and the hotel is very clean. It was a busy weekend there.

One night stay for a concert we attended and the location was perfect. The venue for the concert was next door to the hotel. Check in was fast, easy, and friendly. Room- makeup was on the bathroom door. Ironing board was broke and we were never brought a new one that we asked for. The mattress was terrible and needs an update. Mattress was very worn and not firm at all. I’ve stayed at other Hilton locations and the mattress was great, so I expected more.

I’d give it a negative star if I could. We booked the stay as a package through Expedia prepaid. When we checked in, the lady asked for our credit card which I thought it was for deposit. It turns out she double charged our stay on the card. It took her an hour to fix the mistake. The whole time she kept telling us she needed “a few minutes” and asked to wait in the lobby. She was answering the phones, talking to her colleagues while kept saying she would need a few minutes. She didn’t call us at the end. We had to politely interrupt her conversation with her co-worker in order to get our room key. We doubled checked that she had fixed the double charge issue. Now we are back home and surely they did charge us again on our card even though it was prepaid with Expedia! One other thing the lobby has very strong chemical/artificial air freshener all day long. It’s very uncomfortable. Nice location with lots of food/shopping option though.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and the room was clean. The entire facility is well maintained, and breakfast at the adjacent Jameson’s Charhouse was delicious. The hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance of shopping, grocery stores, and the performing arts center (we were in town to see the Queen concert). The outdoor pool had a few small autumn leaves, and the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, but overall this hotel is a winner. I would definitely recommend staying here!
