We enjoyed our stay in the heart of Chicago. The Embassy Suites was clean, staff was very polite, helpful and professional. They serve a delicious daily breakfast. Happy hour daily and the Bartenders were great, polite and professional. Subway, sightseeing and entertainment is within walking distance.

Everyone working here is really nice and the room was comfortable enough. The issue I had was the noise: you can hear your neighbors talking, their tvs, everything. I was attending a conference and I specifically requested a quiet room — they still put me in a room where there were people above me, and on the side. Meanwhile the hotel was not at capacity, not even close, and they could have spaced people out. Why cram us all together? To save 10 seconds of walking when turning the rooms? I wanted to leave and go somewhere quieter but had already paid for the week.

This was a great location. Walking distance to all the main spots. Short walk to the train/subway. Places to eat and shop all around. Very clean. Breakfast was good!

Concern for safety - my child was stuck in the ele

The stay would have been great, however, my child and niece are afraid of elevators, and unfortunately, they were trapped in the elevator. They called for help, and there was not a lot of reassurance to them. They had to call for help again. By the time they got out of the elevator, they were very scared and had a lot of tears. Another family member at the same hotel said they had an earlier incident with the same hotel. Possibly the elevator should have been closed to ensure all was working correctly. This is one thing that happens to adults but not children.

unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at this location. I was very disappointed: The room keys didn't work, I had to go to the front desk to get new room keys 2x. The app wouldn't unlock the room door either. The pool was ran down with kids like it was a free public pool. The kids were doing back flips into the water, running, and one of them took a crap in the pool. There were no towels 2 days in a row. The food was cold, pancakes taste frozen, eggs tasted like the fake liquid eggs. I reserved a room for 2 adults and a child however there was not enough wash cloths in our room, we requested some and that was cool. The next day while we were out housekeeping cleaned the room, removing our towels and did not replace them with 3 more. Kids ran up and down the hallway all night. The free Concession helped, I got a nice buzz and pretended I was at a different hotel. I would never stay here again, nor do I recommend it. Loud, Over crowded pool, Unsanitary, nasty food
