Truly a disappointing experience. To spend 300 dollars a night and experience anything less than perfection is upsetting. First, once checked in and in the room, no bedding was provided for the sofabed. Even when I went to the front desk and specifically requested bedding for a sofabed, I was provided two fitted sheets for a twin and not the correct size for a sofabed. On our second day, housekeeping skipped our room all morning. Then, as we left the hotel for a daytrip, I requested them to clean our room at 11am. When we got back at 4, the room still hadn't been cleaned. I asked the front desk for a fork at one point. They said one would be sent up. I waited an hour but no one ever brought a fork up. The pool only goes to 4ft deep. There were 4 elevators but youd think there was only 1 the way we waited 5 minutes each time for an elevator. The sink faucet in the bathroom is so close to the back of the sink you're continually bumping your hand against the sink while washing your hands. The TV had some sort of weird lock on it that wouldn't allow me to watch hbomax through youtube. And, worst of all, the carpet wasn't correctly secured to the floor. Something spiky was sticking out of the floor, like staples or nails, at multiple points, and my poor kids stepped on the points and hurt themselves. Truly a disappointing experience. The only redeeming factor was the happy hour.

Good: Easy access to public transportation, walking ditance for many attrsctions, filling breakfast and free happy hour. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet and well-insulated from sounds. Hector was especially awesome! Bad: Sometimes our elevator wait times were close to 20 minutes... We learned to account for this when planning travel time to sights and events.

GREAT LOCATION

Hotel is walking distance to everything. The rooms were clean. The beds and pillows could be much better. The microwave was very outdate with low power and rooms could use bigger refrigerators. Loved having a grocery store next door for those last minute needs. The breakfast was good for most. It was not very allergy friendly. There were 2 food attandants one named Miguel that was helpful with grabbing items directly from the kitchen for me. The lines were long for food, special order items like omlets created very long lines. They only had 1 toaster, 1 waffle maker, and small serving pans. The oatmeal was watery. The seating went fast and required a mad dash off elevator to save seats for your family. The elevators were horrible with long wait times. They offered laundry for guest, but the laundry wasnt on every floor. Location at night looks different, the folks were more aggressive with asking for money and getting into your personal space. Parking at a meter is not happening. People would block entrance to garage. Drivers pay little attention to pedestrians so be very careful. Not enough front desk support during high traffic times. The swimming pool was not acceptable for thw size of the hotel. It went to 4ft only and the pictures are deceiving. Pool furniture is cute but not functional for indoor swimming. The cushions remain wet, forcing parent who are supervising only to get wet or it sit outside the area. The happy hour snack could flow togther a bit more.

The property assigned us to a room that has not had working air conditioning for over a month. This was a known problem by hotel staff and when we asked for a room change, they tired to not accomodate and offered a much smaller room. Manager at night was incompetent. Manager during the day apologized. Make sure you do not get room 326.

Clean place, great breakfast included, Hector was great checking our bags on early arrival and making sure we got checked out. Locations very central/walkable (within mile or so, or near subway) to everything we were doing too. Would have given five stars if we got King Bed as booked, or at least were told that is what it would be (were surprised it was two double beds). But since we appreciated being able to get into the room two hours earlier than posted 4pm check in, we were grateful and didn't make a fuss. Thanks!
