They put me n a makeshift room at the end of the hall which had probably been a storage room or something made into a guest room. It was clean but just a bit creepy. The room had a “drain” smell in the bathroom. I wouldn’t use it for guests.

Our stay was very pleasant. I did not realize that the breakfast was not complementary when we booked. But there was breakfast service and we encountered a new wait staff person who was in training. She was quite pleasant and delightful really. So all in all, Four Points has a good reputation with me. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Room was very clean. Excellent price for a hotel close to Chicago. The bartender was wonderful. Compared to most Marriott owned hotels the bed and bedding were just okay- Clean but not exceptionally comfortable.

Everything was fine except the pillows were rather small for the size of the bed (King) and there was no ice machine on the first floor. The people working in the kitchen area were very nice and gave me the ice I needed though.
