The Hilton Chicago is an amazing historical gem with easy access to museums and Grant Park, and a slightly longer walk to the River and shopping venues on the Magnificent Mile. The staff were wonderful and the amenities at the hotel were even better than we expected. We especially enjoyed the pool and the newly installed game room on the lobby level.

Great hotel, but location is lacking

South loop is too far away from the action on State, Wacker and Michigan for my liking - but it’s not as if though I didn’t know this when booking. I prefer hotels on or close to Wacker for this reason.

The hotel was perfectly fine. Nothing special, but it had a lot of great history with all of the movies and TV shows being filmed there. The room was slightly dated, especially the desk chair which had stress built into it. The bars and other amenities were fine and they sent housekeeping and maintenance quickly when we had any issues. In general, it’s just an average hotel that is close to the bus line and the red line. There are a few restaurants and bars around there as well, within a ten minute walk. Use spot hero for parking, as it will save you a lot of money on parking if you’re driving down to the location.

My bed was not queen size. Also my room was very dusty

We couldn't turn down the heat in our room so it was stuck at 72 degrees and we had to sleep with the window open. The shower was luke warm when it was turned all the way hot.

Beautiful and perfect location

This hotel was in the best location for exploring the museums. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel was beautiful and amazing. We loved the game room and Starbucks coffee at the diner. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Chicago.

I really enjoyed my stay here with my family. The only thing is the air wasn’t working in the building and that wasn’t good considering I have a kid with asthma. Other than that the staff was very friendly the property was clean.
