Overal it was an okay experience but the rooms were too small and “old”. Staff was pretty rude, they did not acknowledge me when I needed to ask them a question. Unfortunately they can do better with their staff.

The elevator was very slow, what appeared to be vomit on the carpeting out side our room door. The coffee table had what appeared to be a spilled and dried substance on it. I cleaned the surface. House keeping woke us up before 9am to see if we would like house keeping services. It was not a bad property, just not one I would stay at again.

The location was excellent, as was the hot tub area, and the restaurant. The room was ok, both TV's did not work, a pain. It had a kitchenette, with pretty much everything, but no pots, and only one sharp knife. The room next door had a dog which barked for 1/2 hour at night. When I tried to contact the front desk on the room land line ,I could not get through to the front desk. I had to Google the hotel site, and phone the check-in service who transferred me to the front desk. They did get someone to quiet the dog within 20 minutes. Not much of a VIP experience. There are many options of places to stay in Banff . This will not be one for us.

Check in was easy , ample parking and walking to distance to shops. Chili’s restaurant on site was super convenient for breakfast and a late night snack. My only grievance was the size of the room. We had 2 double beds in the space. Very cramped for 3 ppl. Good enough for 1 night but if we chose to stay again, we would pay for a bigger room

The rooms were clean andThe staff was very friendly, but the TVs did not work on our room for most of our stay we were never told why or compensated for it. When our room said kitchenette, I thought it would have some type of stove top, but it did not One of our two key cards wouldn’t work even after it was reprogrammed, which was frustrating. Beware of the height of your vehicle for their Parkade as parking is very tricky. We limited activities to what could be done by the bus or by walking because we didn’t want to have to move our vehicle as we could not fit in the Parkade, there were times our vehicle was completely boxed in, but we weren’t worried about it because we weren’t leaving until the end of the day on the monday of the long weekend and knew people would move but I could see how this would really frustrate some people

The suite was spacious and the balcony had beautiful views. The hot pools are large and a great way to relax. My only criticism is the one elevator is really slow and doesn’t sound great (although there are many stairs around the property to use).

Keycard didn’t work, had to keep going to reception which is a pain as we are on 3rd floor.. the bathtub leaked everytime we had a shower and there wasn’t enough blankets. The towels were alway not available in the hot pool area and other guests throwing towels all over the floor. Expensive for nothing
