The bathrooms were moldy, without storage and the vanity lights were rusted and filled with bugs. The water pressure was almost nonexistent and the shower leaked all over the floor. The towels were worn out and tiny. The beds lacked an actual headboard yet had decorative artistic curtains which is very unsanitary. The HVAC window units were quite loud and we could barely hear the TV. Regarding the television itself, we had to buy a Roku to get any content since the cable kept cutting out. The TV was without smart features and the dust behind the television was horrible. Additionally, the hotel is in desperate need of a full remodel. I would rate this hotel as a 2.5 star hotel at best; NOT a 4 star hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Lovely base for Chicago stay

Cool vibe go the place. Lovely room on 11th floor with city views. Bar on roof and ground floor coffee shop both excellent. Bus links excellent though walked back from Navy Pier along lakefront. Will stay again.

Great location. Terrible customer service. Will never stay again. Too pricey to get such bad service. Room wasn't ready at check in. There were 4 of us and they offered a room with ONE bed as an option. Took an hour and a half for our room to be ready. No apology from Carlos who checked us in. Just we're really busy and some people that prepaid didn't even get rooms. Also fire alarm went off at 1:30 am and it took them a half an hour to shut off. Not at all worth the high price tag

Lake View Junior Suite

Beautiful lake view room, we were upgraded to a junior suite, 8th floor. Beautiful room. Two window units to provide heat or AC. Lovely location right across from walking trails on lakefront. Excellent valet service made the car situation easier.
