Easy walking distance to the Art Institute of Chicago as well as surrounding restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities covered all the necessities.

The hotel staff was excellent, the room was clean and well designed, I felt very comfortable there in the two double bed suite. Maybe I'm used to fewer star hotels, but there wasn't any free coffee outside of your room, and you had to pray for breakfast, which was very expensive. But that might be normal for that part of Chicago.

Somehow there was an issue with booking after arriving and checking out the room, someone else was given the room and I was moved elsewhere with a smaller bed and no compensation. Just glad I wasn't in the room when the other person walked in or when I walked back in later.

We stay here every year for the Chicago Blues Festival due to the Silversmith's proximity to Millennium Park. Beverly at the front desk is a gem and always so friendly and helpful. Enrique is also an asset. The hotel is lovely, clean and the rooms are relatively spacious and comfortable. However, the service in the restaurant was extremely slow and the morning coffee was a long time coming and then we had to wait for creamer. We ended up going out for breakfast due to the long wait times. While we plan on returning there for next year's festival, we hope thar the breakfast/coffee issue will be rectified by then.

I loved this property! Staff was exceptional!! They were kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was clean. The bathroom amenities were nice and the coffee and tea setup was lovely. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 was that the pull out bed in the king room was only suitable for children because the mattress was only about 3 inches thick offering very litlle cushion and no support. However, i was able to sleep on the couch as a couch comfortably. Would stay there again.
