Would not stay here again. Other than one gentleman at the front desk that went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable the rest of the staff came in contact with was horrible. From the valet to the first front desk person we encountered our experience at this hotel was not what we hoped for or expected.

First of all, the staff was amazing! They were super helpful and went out of their way to treat us like friends. The hotel was clean and the room is nice. The only drawback is that it’s right by the El. But if you just ask for a room away from the El they are very accomodating

Just aweful! Room by the L Train! Window filthy!! Secret “preservation fee” daily $30+. TV options are horrible. No vending machines and/or lobby store. Very disappointed for the price.

This was my second time staying at Silversmith. Love the location of the hotel. I wish I remember the name of the woman who checked us in but the whole staff is fantastic. I have had nothing but good experiences when staying here. Will be my go to hotel for Chicago.
