Great Location & Friendly Staff, few Hiccups

We had a good overall experience at Swissôtel Chicago. The location is fantastic close to everything we wanted to see and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were, however, a couple of things that stood out. When we arrived, there was no conditioner in the shower. While housekeeping responded quickly once I called, this is something that should be double-checked before guests check in. The other issue was with parking. The self-parking option felt a bit confusing and not clearly explained. We ended up using valet, and the valet staff was excellent—professional and efficient—but I think the hotel could do a better job of clarifying parking options for guests ahead of time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning, but a few small improvements in housekeeping checks and guest communication would make the experience even better.

Great Stay With a Few Small Hiccups

Review of Swissôtel Chicago Our experience at Swissôtel Chicago was good overall. The location is excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. That said, there are a couple of things worth mentioning. First, there was no conditioner in the shower when we arrived. While the team responded quickly once I called, I feel that this is something housekeeping should always check and restock before a guest arrives. It was a small but noticeable oversight. The second issue was with parking. The self-parking option felt a little deceiving. We decided to go with valet service instead, and I want to note that the valet staff was fantastic—very professional and efficient. However, I think the hotel should provide clearer, more transparent information about the self-parking process so guests understand their options upfront. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but with a couple of small improvements, the experience could be even better.

I liked the cleanliness and service of this hotel. One thing I would have liked to be better is the parking. We had to find parking at a different hotel but at-least the walk from the parking garage to the hotel wasn’t bad. Overall I recommend this hotel!
