you can tell it used to be a nice hotel. its a shame most Best westerns are in this condition.. Thought it was chain wide till I stayed at one in New Albany Mississippi and found one that was top notch like the old days. They really need to renovate these old best westerns and bring back the good name of the franchise

We stayed one night, just off the 5, before heading south to Los Angeles. Our room was surprisingly large, with two queen-size beds and a very large TV set. Breakfast included scrambled egg, sausage and waffles. The large swimming pool looked inviting, but we didn't have time. Too bad!

Room had musty smell. There were dead bugs lining the wall. There was a long black hair in the bathroom sink. The shower door was difficult to open. The shower only had hot water. There were tears in the bed comforter. There were divots in the bed. We checked in late and got the last bedroom with two beds. There were no rooms to move with two beds. When brought to the attention of management, they said they would get back to us. We have yet to hear from them.

Hotel breakfast was the best part. Room was big and modern in some ways. Arrived on a day where a fire was nearby so the air was horrible and smoky. Next day the air was clean but smelled weird still. Overall staffs were nice and breakfast was amazing.

The place is not clean. The phones did not work. No guard at night. The door jam had spacing where you could see out to the parking lot with the door closed. Bugs in the room got bit several times. No maid service. I left one day early. I will never go back. I hoped to get one day refunded but i was told they could not. I was on location for work for the week. It's not a showing for the franchise.
