Advertised, Paid for but NO AVAILABILITY

I booked this hotel on the hotel.com site after seeing the same room available on the host site. This room and few others were also on other 3rd party sites for a little cheaper. I paid in advance as well. While headed to the hotel and after 3 hours of being on the road, I received a call from the hotel calling to let me know that I had no room and that they were overbooked. The hotel employee stated that they asked Hotel.com to call me but they would not so they called me. I was a 1.5 hours from my destination and spent an additional 1 hour attempting to find a new room at 3am in the morning. I have booked through other 3rd party sites and never had this happen. Additionally, the host hotel and Hotel.com should not advertise rooms that are not available.

Needs some work

The entire hotel has been renovated and looks great. Unfortunately we found pretzel, hair balls and Benadryl tablets on our floors in the bathroom and main room. Appears no one vacuumed. Also, there were nice matching dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, etc but only hand soap had contents. We were also sad to get a partial room of TP, but got more from a maid in the hall.
