Nice room but LOUD!

Enjoyed the stay for the most part. Unfortunately the family above us had what felt like 10+ kids running around until about 11pm. We have 2 younger kids and would have liked to enjoy some time relaxing before bed without listening to a rodeo above us. We contacted the front desk three times and asked them to help us mitigate the situation but unfortunately we had to wait until they tired themselves out.

I will never stay at this hotel again. Our FIRST room had a broken shower so we had to ask for a new room…our SECOND room was musty and smelled like mold. Is there any general maintenance happening? There was a ton of kids which isn’t normally an issue (I also have a kid) but it seems like they all had their own rooms and we were on the same floor as them as they banged and yelled down the halls. The halls were dirty with liqour bottle caps on the ground and just all around trashy. The only decent thing about this hotel was the staff.

Everything was good with a few exceptions. My family stayed here during an across country move while 8 months pregnant and upon checking in we were told by a man on night staff that we may be kicked out if the hotel next door calls the police on us for parking moving truck in the parking lot. Mind you we parked in the lot that was owned by Holiday in, but apparently it is against Holiday in policy to have large trucks in their parking lot. Not sure why this even involves the hotel next door. So if you have a large vehicle, I would advise to call ahead and make sure they won’t be weird about it when you are checking in. Also another bummer was that there were massive clumps of hair in the swimming pool that is pretty gross. And to follow up the breakfast was good but mildly disappointing. Holiday inn usually has a decent selection of breakfast, but it was definitely not as pictured. There were no omelets or bacon available as you would expect with the Holiday inn continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Over all we had a decent one night stay for our long move from Arizona to Michigan.

Clean & Comfortable hotel. Nice breakfast, nice indoor pool that was open til midnight. Great location, right off interstate, close to Adventureland, Casino & Outlet Mall. Will definitely stay here next time were in town.
