The hotel was perfect for our three night stay in Cologne. Central location so easy walking distance to everything that Cologne has to offer. It was very quiet and the staff were polite and friendly.

The Dorint am Heumarkt is an excellently located Hotel in the Heumarkt area of Cologne. The Hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. A good bar, Bistro and Breakfast restaurant complete the line up. The only minor gripes we had were a lack of sockets in the bedroom and only being allowed two sachets of tea per day! Highly recommended for a visit to the Christmas Markets.

We were moved to a Komfort room and it was clean with a good sized bathroom and bedroom. Matresses are on the soft side but comfortable, pillows are too soft, felt like being suffocated as the pillow swallowed my head. Good location to get to all the markets and the river. transport connection right outside the hotel.

What a fantastic hotel! Staff was beyond professional into actually kind service. Restaurant and bar were phenomenal. Our room wasn't cleaned while we were there and there was a restroom on the hall that never did have paper towels while we were there. Our shower head did not work and the sink drained slowly. Otherwise, spectacular!

The room booked came with full spa access and a 20% discount in the hotel restaurant. Neither was provided nor spoken about when checking in. The maid service was provided every two days, unless requested daily. We had a 4-day stay and did not receive any maid service at all. The air-con vent opened up on our ceiling in our room, this was rectified within 24hours, but had to be open all night. The only good thing about this hotel was its location; it was very central to the city. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

Nothing was right about this hotel, the staff were unhelpful, we were paying for breakfast and asked for it to be charged to our room. Suddenly as we were in the buffet with food on our plates, a staff member ran after us demanding that we pay you front! We had to leave our breakfast go cold whilst we settled the bill!! Unbelievable!!! We asked for an interconnecting room as we were a family of 4 and we were told "not possible". Then when I asked why our room had not been cleaned or our beds made, we were told that the hotel was an "eco" hotel and that they didn't make beds/clean rooms daily! I had to ask twice for clean towels! Honestly! This hotel is rubbish and I wouldn't stay here again... actually I paid for a 4 star and I've had much better service in a 3 star!

The room was clean and comfy. Great view of the cathedral. The bar and bar staff were outstanding. We did not use the restaurant, but it looked very good. A couple of front desk staff could be a bit more friendlier and helpful. The rest of the staff were excellent and we enjoyed our stay.
