Lovely, modern hotel. Managed to get into the room early - check in was a breeze. Checked in online the day before so only needed to pay the city tax. The gentleman who dealt with us was superb and we got 2 cans given for free. Surrounding area wasn't the best but it felt safe. Very close to the train station, cathedral and shops. Didn't have the breakfast but it was very busy every morning. Free still/sparkling water available all day. Coffee machine available from 11:30pm-11:30am

We arrived to the hotel, the staff was helpful, making check-in a breeze. The hotel itself is located at the busy center of attractions. along with shopping and limited dining convenience . The room was clean, and had a partial view of the city center. The bed was small but comfortable, and I slept okay each night.

Quality hotel and quality service

A fantastic hotel with outstanding service. Rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable with a very modern feel. Right next to the train lines behind the hotel, but don’t let this put you off as it is extremely quiet, even in a room facing the tracks! Have stayed here in about 5 separate occasions now and would not return if we weren’t happy! A 5 minute walk away from the train station and the Cathedral. We were even found a room for check in when we arrived very early at about 9am! What great customer care. 100% recommended.

We stayed in the urban view room and it comfortable and quiet (silent even, thanks to the insulation). Great tv position meant you could settle in to a netflix movie easily, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and had an excellent shower. The view from the window was STUNNING and included the railway and the cathedral, which we loved. The terrace had great views of the cathedral, and the reception area had comfortable tables and sofas to chill out on. The bar had good options (Kölsch, cocktails and softs) and the free coffee was an excellent perk. We didn’t order breakfast as we thought that €17 pp was too much. Overall, we loved our stay at Urban Loft and will definitely be returning next time we visit Köln.

A very good hotel with lots around it. Bit worried at first being against the Trainline but there’s two separate windows that fully open/ close if wanted, so you cannot hear them at all; that’s a guarantee! Extremely clean room with no damage, everything worked and very well decorated. Lots of amenities and nothing wrong with it at all Staff were insanely friendly and could speak English and German, with lots of advice and assistance wherever. The ground floor was consistently clean and this is a perfect location for solo travellers like myself, or couples or groups Genuinely my expectations were definately met and more, would highly recommend this hotel to anyone
