I come here every year for Gamescom. The location is great, the staff is courteous and professional, and the rooms are nice and clean. I particularly appreciate the self-serve coffee machines in the hotel lobby.

Less than a 5 minute walk to Cologne Central station. The staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom amenities were adequate. The room is sparsely decorated but has all the essentials. The only thing I found a little weird was no tea/coffee in the room. You could only get it in the hotel reception from 10:30 pm to 10:30 am, so not during the day. Other than this, the stay was amazing.

Check in on the laptops was ridiculous! Letters are not like a keyboard and you can’t see what you are typing. The hallway carpets are filthy! The room was clean but no shelves to put things on.

We loved the vibe of the hotel but you can tell it is a lower end hotel. It was close to the train station, so that was great, but a bit of a walk from old town. Although we didn’t eat the breakfast buffet (not included in the price) had a good offering. They did have free coffee and water at all times. The area around the hotel was a little sketchy, but we didn’t have any issues during our stay.

Overall our stay here was decent. The bathroom was clean and the room was clean. However we paid extra to upgrade our room and apparently all we received was a bigger room? But the room did not look like the picture of what it was supposed to look like. Also, there was no counter space in the bathroom and the way the shower is designed it made a complete mess on the floor. The staff however was very helpful and kind.

Room small but comfortable. Shower soaked the bathroom floor and could not be adjusted to prevent. Room far too warm and never below 24oC - reported to reception who stated the smart system was now set to warm mode but could not be controlled to reduce within the room. Area around the hotel felt a little unsafe- witnessed a multi police arrest within yards of the hotel entrance and lots of drunks and beggars around the hotel at night on the surrounding streets
