Good luck if your 18!

My stay at the plantation was not the worst but not the best being under 21 they made me put down a $150 deposit which seems ridiculous to me a contract or something would have been better the rooms were decently clean just kinda run down and outdated the shower on the other had was pretty nasty and the water facet in the shower would just stay on unless you completely pushed it down but as a whole the hotel worked fine just a $150 deposit is ridiculous in my opinion.

Unfortunately the property smelled like mold so bad that my lungs burned, and my skin crawled. The beds are also so hard, they are like a box spring. We checked out and moved two hours later and they would only refund two of our four nights. Also we cannot get this refund unless we can reach someone at Expedia, which we can’t. So basically we are out 4 nights unless I can get ahold of someone at Expedia. If I was you, stay at the Holiday Inn or Best Western. They are blocks from the beach, and have heated pools.

Such great value for the money! The guy at the front desk is amazing-- courteous and professional. We really enjoy the breakfast, proximity to the beach, plenty of room for our family in the room, and the pool and hot tub.

Does not look like the pictures online. Much older, small tv, and ant mounds in grass where I had my dog . Stair rails are very low and hard to hold onto going upstairs.

We stayed 3 nights… had to go to check in area to get coffee, cups and towels… no one checked supplies in room or made beds/swept floor…beds were uncomfortable… room was comfortable and had microwave/ refrigerator. Pool and hottub were nice… breakfast was basic

We have stayed at this property before had a great experience…not so much this trip..3 mornings cleaning up a clogged drain in the shower..then last flood got water all over my suitcase..which I showed the manager not to concerned..moved us to another room for our last night..I wouldn’t recommend staying…place has gone down…

Smell of mold

The room had the smell of mold and the floor was dirty, also very dated. Chair in the room was broken and you can hear the guests in adjacent rooms so it was noisey! We were supposed to stay 4 nights but decided to leave after one!

Reasonable

Bed was uncomfortable. All in all it's a decent place. Pool was heated which was wonderful and hot tub was a nice temperature. Breakfast was ok. Not much of a selection. We were able to walk, 10 minutes, to the beach from the motel.
