I loved that they provided umbrella & chairs but u had to get up early to get them, the only problem was there was a gas leak on our last day- so we had to evacuate for a few hours but they did provide breakfast & I received a discount for no hot water& distress to my dog who was on the 6 th floor - the leak was in the kitchen so no hot breakfast - no fault to the hotel , I will be returning again next year. This is our fav hotel in ocean city! ( the staff could have done a better job of cleaning the tide room , maybe have someone at nite clean up) in the morning there is garbage all over the tables -

The room we booked was not available (premium king). We ended up in a queen room. AC stopped for a while during the night. Did come back on. Pool small and crowded. Dirty hallway to the pool. Beach bartenders (Jamie) were very nice. Front desk staff very nice and accommodating and tried to make up for the room not being available.

Kind of tough to review. When we arrived, they had fairly recently developed extensive boiler issues, so no hot water the entire weekend! However, they did their very best to take care of guests who didn’t leave (they provided that option, 100 percent refund). Seemed as if most people stayed. We were provided with several meals (gratis) and free drinks during happy hour. Cold showers suck, but the hotel went out of their way to make it a nice stay regardless. We’ve been to Ashore before and won’t hesitate to go again.

Property had evacuation due to carbon monoxide leak as well no hot water at all! Room floor was covered in sand was not cleaned at all! Asked for champagne glasses was given wine glasses instead! Beach was not giving out umbrellas due to it being “windy” which was just an excuse. Overall not worth the price you pay!
