So I booked last minute but I was expecting what I seen in the reviews… When my family and I arrived the first thing we noticed is that the landscaping was not kept up at all entered the building and building smelled old and dirty. The guy at the desk gave us one keycard for a family of four. The paint was pilling in the tub. The light and A/C didn’t work. The doors barely worked with key. The floors in the room had paint or blood stains all over them the microwave didn’t work. All the soaps and shower supplies were used and was left for us to use. The staff had to use the same elevator as the customers and it was always a wait. The free breakfast was cold and didn’t have any options at all to choose from.

One of the problems we had with the room, was that it was right next to the employees break room. I could hear water constantly running among other things. The other problem, was the room itself. Just because I booked a room through a third party doesn't make it alright to have a poor quality room. That type of room shouldn't even exist in a hotel, and no room should be next to the employees break room. There were stains on the wall. No hangers, two irons no iron board. I had to call and ask for one. Half the time when I called the front desk, the phone would keep ringing. I'd have to hang up and call back. The front desk was being difficult giving my sister lining for the sofa bed. Why wasn't it already in the room? Why did he have to give my sister a hard time? This was my first time staying at a Comfort Inn, not a good first impression.

I was checked into a room with running hot water in the bathtub leaving the entire room foggy and hot. Everything in the bathroom was covered in water and it felt like a sauna. The next room they gave me had a slow drain so the water stayed in the bathtub while showering leaving me standing in water up to my ankles. The bathrooms just about all have leaks or have leaked at some point hence the water stains.

The hotel is very old, poor conditions. AC was running all night, still didn’t cool room, had to move rooms because the tv wasn’t working, second rooms remote didn’t work.

Property in good location, lots of dining options nearby. Property is older and in need of updating. First room we were given the toilet did not flush, manager said no maintenance on site to fix it, so we moved rooms. The hot-tub needed to be cleaned. There was a lot of protein foam in it.

Good - price (except for deposit thing), comfortable, convenient, quiet, generally clean, Bad - hot tub did not work, pool area needs repairs, mold in shower, odd smell in room when we first entered - feels humid all the time unless the AC is cracked up which then is too cold, didn't like the way the TV service is set up, awkward to use, charged a $350 deposit - this has never happened to me before and was not aware of this care ahead of time. I do hope it's a deposit and I wasn't scammed. It was my first time in Texas. Maybe this is a Texas thing?

The check in clerk was fast and nice. The electronic lock on the door was damaged but still worked, however I could not close the deadbolt completely. Worse was they were cleaning the carpet and the room they gave me the floor was still wet. I didn't notice until I took off my shoes and my socks got wet. I understand cleaning the carpet but block out that room until the carpet is completely dry.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The room was not clean though. The mirrors were streaky, surfaces were spotted and dusty, and there was hair on the toilet, in the tub, on the shower walls, and on the floor. There were spots on the walls where you could tell things had been spilled and not wiped down. I walked down to the lobby to ask for cleaning spray and a rag and cleaned the room myself before touching anything. The WiFi or tv didn’t work consistently and the baseboards in the rooms were coming off of the wall. Definitely needs some maintenance and cleaning, but overall an ok place to stay for one night.
