Just not a great place. Carpet smells Long walk from the parking lot to entrance. Not exactly safe for a single female traveling. The area is amazing around. Lots of great places. Checking was so so. I had 4 bags and the staff not once offered a cart or help. Then I was placed at the 2nd floor Elevator was a 4 minutes walk the. After the floor about 10 mins to get to the room. Carrying every bag myself. Dissatisfied.

Awful experience for a 2nd time

I've stayed at this location before renovation and after checking in and seeing the condition oft he room and the stain on the sheets when I pulled back the bedding, I immediatly checked out and moved to a different hotel. Since some of the rooms are now renovated, I thought that I'd give it another shot. ANOTHER stain (looks like blood) on the sheets, the quality of the renovation is awful and the contractor should be fired. Will never stay at this location again. Front desk person was super nice.

Hotel was going under a renovation while we stayed there; however, we still enjoyed our stay with no noise issues. The staff we interacted with was very friendly. The only issue we had was the TV in the room was not connected to the internet and kept us from being able to stream. Overall great stay.

SCAMMERS

I booked and paid for this trip a couple of months BEFORE my actual visit- I actually over booked an extra night which Thankfully I realized weeks before my trip- Hoyel credited my card the extra night - on the actual day of my trip, my flight was delay and I arrived late evening - I had already electronically checked in and all I needed to do was pick up my room keys (SO I THOUGHT). The employee working made the process beyond HORRIBLE, after about 10 minutes of her clicking through the computer, she kept nodding her head and smacking her lips, so I asked if there was an issue- she said “I have a note from my manager that I cannot check you in because your card declined” ???? What in the actual !!!! I told her how is that possible when this trip was paid for months before - I even showed her my card statement- she refused and kept saying “my manager, my manager, my manager” after like 30-40 minutes of me laying out PROOF of payment and refusing to give any other type of payment - she said “I WILL CHECK YOU IN, BUT YOU HAVE TO FIX THIS WITH MY MANAGER” - why did I stay, because it was almost MIDNIGHT, and I already paid 11 days of hotel stay! I couldn’t sleep as I was calling nearby hotels and my credit card company and hotels.com and my bank- first thing the next morning I went to speak with the manager and told her everything, the manager looked at computer and was confused because she said “THERE IS NOTHING IN YOUR FILE”!

Had to go into the men’s room to find paper towels. We were not greeted at all when we entered and had to wait a while to get checked in. The clerk finished checking in the guest in front of us and then just walked off, it was weird. She also had gaudy fake nails that should could barely type with. Online showed a restaurant and bar but neither were opened.
