Loved the tucked away location in Irving. It was near the city and surrounding suburbs for easy access, so exploring isn’t too much of a hassle. The service was great, the breakfast was too. The room was set up nicely, and it really felt like home away from home. My only gripe is that I saw a dead bug on the ground in the bathroom. I didn’t see any bugs, but there is probably a bug problem to some extent at least. It didn’t ruin my trip and encourage people to give this place a try as it’s great for the price.

We stayed in a 2-room suite. The first 2 rooms they tried the keycards wouldn’t work. We finally got into a room on their 3rd attempt. The room was filthy, everything was outdated. The ceiling was leaking both in the room and in the hallway outside our room. The walls were paper thin. We were on the first floor, room 103. Stomping upstairs both nights. Hot water lasted a shower and a half, so not good for a family of 4. We picked this place due to its proximity to DFW airport. You should pass this hotel up and find another.

Outside is super cute, quaint. Our room was 2 bedroom suite. Very outdated and “old” smell. Breakfast was mediocre and ants were all over the counter. Lady at check in wasn’t very friendly but gentleman that was there for check out was kind and helpful.

Honestly not worth the price, not at all. Pictures were not accurate to in person. It was noisy, the bed was very hard and cheap feeling. The floor in the room I stayed in 331 it was caving in near the ac unit. The elevator wood walls were falling apart. Not very clean inside hallways. The couch was stained and faded colors. The fold out bed/mattress was dirty. Didn’t even have sheets on it. Bought specifically for two beds. Had to share a bed, when I purposely bought a two roomed bed. It was okay….. Definitely not worth $100 a night. Looks wayyyy better in pictures than in real life. I’ll look at other places next time.

The bathroom faucet didn't work properly. The shower head barely had any water pressure. There were no sheets or blanket for the pull out bed. The owners were unfriendly. I smiled and said good morning to her and she just stared at me. The only utensils available were knives and forks. For reserving a room with a kitchenette it was extremely limited. This hotel is overly due for a remodel.

No coffee after 930

Love Sonesta with one exception. They pull the coffee after 930. I work alot from hotels and this is a make or break for me. I dont want to have to run to get coffee and Holiday Inn does this seemlessly. I may use them for again for pleasure but not for work.
