The DJ in the bar area on Friday night was great. The lights on the sides of the vanity mirror did not function properly. The toilet fill valve had to be "jiggled" manually to work. The vanity cold faucet was not secured to the countertop and also only turned on about 1/2 way. The filth under the couch in our room was disgusting (I dropped a cufflink) The room was advertised for $242 per night but after all the add-ons and taxes it was $371 per night. $60 per day for valet parking before tip (hotel only has 10 spaces for self parking). $25 per day for the "Amenity Fee". I asked about this charge and was told it was for you know, amenities of the hotel, like housekeeping. So they charged us a total of $50 to make our bed once. This is my tenth year in a row as Hilton Diamond member, I spend a lot of time in hotels. The overall value of this experience was poor.

Lived up to the hype!

Fabulous experience - I was hesitant to book due to the cost of the hotel compared to others in the area, but was encouraged by others that it would be worth the splurge. And it was. The Commons Club was amazing service and delicious drinks and food. The front desk staff and valet were incredible.

The hotel is design focused, really sharp looking, homely and well thought out. The service was great all the way around. The food at the restaurant was delish. Can’t wait to stay again.

A Terrible Experience At A Wonderful Hotel

The hotel is brilliant. Absolutely stunning. I reserved the most impressive, most expensive room. It was huge. Amazing balcony. Wonderful bed. And now, the problem that ruined my entire stay. There is a double shower. The temperature controls were both broken. At midnight, I couldn't take a shower without scalding myself. I called down to get maintenance. They said someone would be right up. I called again at 1am. And again at 2am. Fell asleep. Called again 8am. Was promised someone would be right up. Finally at 1pm, someone was sent up. When I came back that second night, the problem was not fixed. The knobs had been tightened but the water was all scalding hot. No way to get water that wouldn't send me to the hospital with burns. I called down. A person came up, looked at it, said he'd be back. And no one ever came. I paid all this money for a hotel room in which I could not take a shower. I am very upset. I am even more upset because this hotel is awesome, but how can it be considered anything more than a ripoff under this circumstance?

The hotel was amazing and our penthouse suite was incredible with view of the Dallas sky line. We loved the decor in the suite - it was so spacious and had so many amazing touches.
