The basement parking is safe but note that they close after 11:00pm for security reasons. So if you drive and have to return late then open car park on L1 in front of the Lobby is the only option. Hotel room was 5 star but they could have allowed guests to park for free. The period leading to Hari Raya is the worst time to visit Malacca as every restaurant including the one in the hotel will give priority to Muslims at break fast timing.
