I needed to iron my clothing for a meeting and had no iron in the room. Approached staff and was told they were booked and had no iron available. There were two very large stains in the carpet by the desk.

The room was great- clean and comfortable. Front desk person was not good. We reported a very icey entrance to her and she rolled her eyes and said she'd leave it for the next person on duty.

My hubby and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. There is a lot of shopping and entertainment around the hotel, which made it very convenient when we wanted to eat. We were able to just walk to a yummy pizza place near by. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Des Moines!!
