In Des Moines for Senior Olympics

Breakfast was good. Room was fine, had microwave, small fridge and microwave. Front desk was helpful. Location good, could walk to Mexican Restaurant and Crack O Barrel.

The staff at check in and check out were very friendly. The room, however, had an overpowering musty odor. It is very hot and humid in Iowa, but the smell was offensive. Also, not my taste of decor: black gauzy sheer drapes made the room feel like it was cheap and not the LaQuinta we expected.

Overall, a nice stay. clean. very bright lights outside all night and glowed around the black out curtains. Room door was very loud going in and out. Couldn't be quiet entering or leaving room.

The property was amazing. The pool was loud and crazy as a team of soccer players and families were playing football in the pool and kept just missing us with the ball. I sat on stairs and still got soaked from the ball sizing by. The pool area had trash. The rest was great and clean.

There wasn’t a single smiling face amongst the staff. They continually acted like they were inconvenienced and unhappy to be there, and that dramatically impacted our experience. The rooms were mediocre the pool and hot tub or mediocre. The breakfast was mediocre. The staff really ruined it for us.

Great Motel in every Way!!

This was a delightful motel to say at! The rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and breakfast offerings plentiful and delicious. The folks who operate the motel were very accommodating, and willing to meet "any" need... .we were told to JUST ask and they'd do whatever to make the stay a perfect one! Decor is up to date, again, room was very clean and it was a place that you felt safe in! Oh... great indoor pool/ hot tub and even a place outdoors to sit in the sun after a dip into the pool! Is also walking distance to a major restaurant (Cracker Barrell) if you wish. We felt safe here also... and easy access onto I35 when we left. AAAA+++++ and more to this motel and all who run/maintain it. 😊🌞🎉
