Staff were friendly and accommodating. Ryan, Lene, Lana, Anastasia and Boyona (spelling?) were so kind and helpful along with the staff whose names I didn’t get. Breakfast was fabulous, and dinners were delicious and elevated. I didn’t expect to dine so well on my trip. Initially I was dismayed not having television, but that turned out to be wonderful. Will definitely stay here again

I had a wonderful and excellent stay here. A simple and rustic accommodation, an old minors hut, basic, but very comfortable, clean and warm. Excellent and polite staff, always with smile and happy to help. I will stay here again when I return.

This place is on the pricey side, but is by far the nicest hotel in Longyearbyen. The staff, the room, the food, and the hotel itself are all amazing. The included breakfast is excellent. The hotel itself is located on one of the highest locations in town, so there is a bit of an uphill climb back to the hotel after a day of exploring, but not an issue. Special thanks to Tina and Maiju at reception, and Daniel in the dining room for providing above and beyond amazing service.
