Yamanashi Prefecture ski resorts

Breakfast good. Spa was terrible. A sheet departing tables and the entire time staff was loud. On the phone talking SO loudly I finally had to tell them to please be quiet. The elevator kept pinging every 10 seconds. It was a real shame . It was expensive and was shocked at how loud and rude the female on the phone was. Most the Japanese people have been lovely. Not this one.

The staff was nice and tried to updgrade us to a room with more of a view but unforunately it was 3 twin beds and as a couple that wasn't what we were looking for. Breakfast was already fully booked so we couldn't go to it. The room was super small for the price. Good view of Fuji, you get a bit of noise from the theme park.

The hotel has a brilliant location with views over the lake and Mt. Fuji. The hotel was probably at its best 20 + years ago but seems dated now. There were damaged fittings in the ceiling, the tech is poor (shaky WiFi, TV not able to cast etc) and such a large amount of floor space taken up by unused communal areas. Had half board and it was getting a bit repetitive after the third day.

Amazing place with out of this world amenities and the friendliest staff. Really enjoyed this onsen experience and would recommend it to anyone.
