Great stay

All the staff was amazing! I enjoyed my stay and it was very quiet during the night. Manager Tawena was amazing as well! The rooms were clean and very accommodating for my trip, would definitely book here again.

The staff at the front desk weren’t friendly. When we arrived our rooms weren’t clean so we had to wait. The stopper in the tub was broken so the water wouldn’t drain while we showered.

Was just a strange Stay... Walking into the lobby it smelled like someone broke a bottle of cheap perfume very overwhelming. The pool was also closed due to a "chemical imbalance" is what the sign said. It was supposed to be open the next morning which it was not! Breakfast was ok aside from the older lady that informed me very loudly that "I was not to be in the Breakfast area without shoes" I was wearing socks and I was only in the Breakfast area for about 3 minutes total! Another thing I noticed none of the staff working there seemed happy. The entire time I was there I did not see any of the staff smile, not once! A couple staff members were also on video calls while they we're working. I dont think that is very professional at all. I would be in trouble if I were on a Video Call while I was working at my place of employment. Also upon getting into the room it was chilly. I turned on the heat from the wall, or at least i thought so before we left for the evening. When we returned to the room it was 52 degrees! Looking at the unit itself the controls we're on it. So im not sure why there was one on the wall!

Pre-Covid hotel experience

I almost don't want to do this review so it doesn't become too popular. Think of a newer, 3-4 star, pre-covid, reasonably budgeted, family friendly hotel. Now remember getting housekeeping DAILY (carts filled with everything from fresh sheets to even fresh washed shower curtains)..fresh smelling sheets...fluffy standard sized pillows....soap and shapoo dispensers...clean shower/tubs..more than 1 roll of toilet paper..friendly staff...AVAILABLE maintenance (cause anything man made can break no matter what hotel you stay at) ...NOW...imagine what a free breakfast used to look like☺️☺️. Hot buffet breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles and fresh fruit, Choboni yougurt😱 and...well you get the idea. My grandkids were elated! I tried to act real cool about it but i went back for 2nds with a big smile. $94-143 for queen beds. We will be back!

Last minute booking

I came into the area for a last minute meet and greets with old friends. Decided to spend the evening instead of driving back to Cleveland. I was able to make my reservations an hour before arrival. Front desk was very friendly, however he wreaked of pot. I know it's legal in Michigan but I think management should make a comment to staff in regards to issue. I just think it's not good for business. Don't get me wrong the employee was perfectly courteous and efficient. My room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was normal fair for hotels the perk was they had a little to go bag which was wonderful it had a snack and water and a muffin in it. My other recommendation would be some kind of non-skid safety strips in the shower I did slip and there's no grab bar except for the door gave me a little fright. The other plus is this hotel was not too far from the freeway. Definitely will be coming back when I'm in town

Very pleased with our stay

We go to the greater Detroit area every month or two, and this hotel is the only place we stay. The personnel are outstanding: courteous, knowledgeable, pro-active. For example, after we checked in, we discovered the TV in our room wasn’t working properly. We told the young man at the front desk about this, and within 2 minutes a maintenance staff member came to our room and adjusted something on the back of our TV; it worked perfectly after that. He told us if we had any more problems with the TV (we didn’t) they would put us in another room (the front desk person said this also). We feel that people at this hotel really value their guests and take good care of the,.,

Henry Ford Museum trip

Room was clean. Comfy beds with full size pillows. Nice coffee machine. (updated) Clean bathroom. Housekeeping dud stop by to see if i needed anything. Pool looked clean. Going again in 2 days. One thing that was outstanding was the breakfast. 1st day was potatoes, bacon and scrambled eggs and it only got better. Lots of choices. Front desk staff were very nice. The only thing I had a little trouble with was regulating temperature in the room but maybe it was just my issue. Looking forward to going back.Great location.
