Overall, not a bad place. The pillows were a bit horrid leading to a not so good night of sleep. If we had planned on staying more than 1 night, I would have brought my own pillow as I am pretty picky that way. Never have down pillows without alternatives in the room! Otherwise the room was fine. Definitely could smell the chlorine in the hallways.

Location was great! Lots to do in the area or go to Detroit. Room was clean! Loved the soft King Size Bed!! Lemon water in the lobby was appreciated!! A way to block outside lights would be nice.

Totally satisfied with our stay.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff professionally kind and helpful. The breakfast was good and included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and the standard hot oatmeal, cold cereals and juice. The coffee was great. The airport transportation went as scheduled . Property was clean.

Traveled with a group. Listing needs to be updated, there was no second pool. The heat was not turned on in the pool until we got there and no hot tub. Expedia misrepresented this property in the add, the front desk girl said the shut down the other hotel about 3 years ago with the big pool and hot tub. Not only did they have a problem finding my reservation and wanted me to pay for another room which I refused to do so on the phone with customer service which finally was found. So after the hot tub and pool issue I had to spend time on the phone finding my reservation I just wanted to cancel and go to a different hotel but couldn’t it was too late now. So disappointed!! 😡

The listing needs to be updated, no hot tube1 pool not 2, the pool was cold had the heat turned off. Expedia misrepresented this hotel in there add. They shut down the one hotel with the big pool and the hot tube 3 years ago. It was to late to change hotels upon arrival.

The room was decent but a few of the lights in the room did not work. My main disappointment though was that I chose this hotel/location based on good recent reviews. I took my children here completely and solely so they could swim. Upon arrival when I asked about pool hours I was told the pool heater was broken and had been for a few days. Clearly this was very frustrating as again, was the only reason we came. The woman at the front began nice enough but when I expressed my frustration at this inconvenience, she began to seem irritated and basically told me there is nothing she could offer since I booked through expedia and not through Holiday Inn. While I know it is obviously not her fault personally and was not blaming her, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong by booking through a 3rd party, and was told expedia is responsible for any updates and/or refunds/discounts. The children swam but were so cold that teeth were chattering and they didn't last long and were ultimately disappointed. Really hoping that expedia finds a way to rectify the situation as I am less than thrilled that I seemingly had no choice and am now out the money for a mediocre stay. The heater in the room also seemed to not be working properly.thurned it down several times but it remained overly warm.

Enjoyed staying here. It was very modern and clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The only small complaint was that the mirror lighting in the bathroom wasn’t working.
