This was a beautiful hotel! Extremely clean, odor free and comfortable. We drove from Ohio to attend a wedding and were so happy with our stay! The people working at the front desk were so friendly & helpful which was very refreshing! The breakfast buffet was also very clean, spacious, and the food was very good! Thank you for making our trip to Michigan a great one!

Clean, quiet, comfortable hotel in a great location. Only complaint is the bathroom door was frosted glass so the entire sleeping space lit up anytime someone used the restroom at night. Poor design IMO. Otherwise, fantastic hotel and would definitely stay again.

Great location. Good parking. Clean and in good condition, if a little spartan. Odd property. The vibe, including the staff, lacked hospitality. While the bar had food, I would recommend exploring other options in walking distance - I had a pizza which was fine, but nothing special- definitely pre-made. Overall, for the price and location I would have expected the whole experience to be a little more upscale.

Nice… if you don’t mind racism or ageism.

Nice hotel, staff seems racist/ageist. I’m a 22 year old black woman who booked a room the night before my college graduation. I work for a law firm and was more than able to pay for the room. When I came in, a few of the staff stared at me as if I didn’t belong and the receptionist was very rude and unwelcoming. I had forgotten my card was locked and tried to use it and it declined, and she acted as if I was a vagrant who couldn’t afford the room. I wanted to not check in after this, but I stayed. The room was nice, but service was terrible. I won’t be returning.

Wonderful location for a show at Royal Oak Theater

The staff were absolutely excellent, some of the nicest we've ever encountered. I would stay here again simply because we were tested with the upmost kindness and respect.

Great hotel!

Hotel was super clean, friendly staff, easy check in, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Loved all the food options close by walking distance and the walk to the venue was easy, safe and quick. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of options! Definitely would stay here again!
