Great hotel and everything about it is spot couldn’t put a hotel in a better place for amenities whether it’s a drink some food or a bit of shopping I never had the breakfast this time round as last time I was disappointed as there was no beans and no bacon but I’m sure it’s improved but generally apart from the breakfast the hotel I could not recommend more nice touches with the pringles and chocolate bar in the fridge

Great experience grom start to finish. Lucy was particularly helpful. The room was spotless, very comfortable bed. The breakfast...wow, what a fantastic choice. The hot food choices were freshly cooked and brought out, so thete wasnt piles of food out drying out under the hot plate lights. It was just a continued supply straight from the kitchen. I would highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to my next stay here.

From the second you take your last look at your car in the dodgy car park to the moment you hopefully get it intact you cant relax. As you walk up to the place you recognise that once upon a time this was a nice place and getting into reception its dated but acceptable. A warm welcome as well but when you get in the lift you know this isn't gonna be luxury. The walls in my room were damp and paintwork shoddy but by far the worst thing is the noise. From the many internal doors banging and the constant carry on from outside you wont get a wink, no a/c but opening a window isnt an option. Tv is tiny, no water in room, breakfast alright but wouldn't rush back.

No reading lights, no Aircon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Carpets looked dirty. My wife commenting to me that it seems with Mercure we get less for our money than other hotel chains

Greeted well with helpfullness

The receptionist staff was friendly and the beds were comfy. Everything was within a ten minutes walk from the hotel such as nightclubs, bars , restaurants, wool market and shopping centre. Decorated in the reception to the horse racing. It also had 2 ways to have a shower and a bath with a radiators in the bathroom.

Excellent service from all staff. Lovely quiet room . Breakfast was nice a lot of choice. Unfortunately the bed was not right but I used a grounding sheet which really helped for the second night. Overall I recommend this hotel :)
