The staff was great, the drinks were good, the food is ok... The hotel itself is nice however the surrounding outside area looks almost dystopian.

Our stay was deeply disappointing and far below expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hotel had an unpleasant odor that lingered throughout our time there. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and unfriendly — not even a simple smile or a warm greeting. For a hospitality business, the lack of basic customer service was truly disheartening. The elevator was old and in poor condition, which added to the overall rundown feel of the property. The entire place looked like an abandoned building — dusty, neglected, and poorly maintained. Our room was the biggest letdown — the pillows had a bad smell, the bed sheets had visible stains, and the carpet was visibly dirty. There was also no complimentary slippers provided, which is a basic amenity expected at any decent hotel. Dust was everywhere, making the room feel like it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. To make matters worse, the in-room telephone was not working, and neither was the hair dryer. I had to use my own personal cellphone just to contact the front desk to report the issue. Their response was completely unprofessional — the staff simply said she didn’t know why the electrician hadn’t fixed it, with no apology, no follow-up, and no attempt to resolve the problem. This level of negligence and indifference is unacceptable. For the price they are charging, this is completely unacceptable. A room in this condition should not cost more than $40 per night — and even at that price, the cleanliness and service

After you book on Expedia, this property will hold an additional $100.00 "deposit". I got in at midnight and they spring that fee on me. I paid it but they said they didn't receive the payment "on our end" even though it had come out of my account under BEST WESTERN in my banking app. So they made me pay the $100. 00 fee AGAIN or they said I would have to find somewhere else to stay. Scary and disgusting If I knew I would be shelling out over 300.00 I wouldn't have been staying at this wet dog and pennies smelling rot hole.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and had a good stay. The room was older, and okay, and mostly clean. The shower could use a good deep cleaning in the corners, but other than that no complaints. The hotel staff at all levels was the best I have seen in many years. Every staff member was professional and genuinely happy and helpful. It was very nice to see a welcoming greeting when I arrived and during my stay. A+ for all of the staff. Don't let any of them go.

Hotel staff was pleasant. I booked the jacuzzi tub suite. The tub is just a normal size if not even shorter than normal but extra deep with jacuzzi jets. It only fits one person and you can’t lay in it. Not worth the extra money. There is a train that runs at night from about 3 to 4 AM and honks a horn the entire time. And overall, I would say the rooms don’t have any soundproofing. I was on the second floor and I could hear people loudly all night long. The casino is pretty much all smoking and smells horrible. For some reason staff rarely is emptying the ashtrays. If you want sodas or coffee, you have to ask a staff member because there isn’t just a station to get them yourself and there is very little staff. The food in the restaurant was okay, not good or great. Also expensive for a cigarette stinky casino mainly frozen foods place.
