Location was good, bed was comfortable- price was cheap ish but room was poorly maintained- taps all needed new washers, shower screen jammed so would only open about 30cm, walls were crumbling at skirtings. Bathroom door wouldn’t slide properly and there was no bath mat. Worst of all, there was frequent cigarette smoke drifting into the room through bathroom window- which couldn’t be closed - so room stank. You’d have to be desperate to stay here- if you can afford something better go elsewhere.
charming old world hotel with character. hotel staff were friendly and helpful. restaurant food was excellent. facilities are dated by nature of the building’s history (this didn’t bother me but might others). huge shared balcony between rooms is a big plus. overall i loved my stay here, highly recommend to those travelling to dubbo on a budget
I liked this place and I'd stay here again. There were issues but for the price I don't mind. The hot water in the shared showers didn't work but the staff upgraded me to an ensuite. My window was a bit drafty but the heater worked and the extra blankets helped. The worst was the noise. All the sound from outside - traffic, noisy patrons at 1am - came straight in!
The staff were wonderful and the meals at the bistro were decent and priced reasonably.
I paid for 3 stars and I got 3 stars, at least for the room. Staff were great. Food was great. Secure off-street parking. Great location.
Great value for the price. I'll stay there again.
The balcony and the outside was fine, but the back door to the handled handle wasn’t lock properly and the sink in the room and it was dirty with cobwebs and dark marks and cracks in the walls
Very nice and comfortable place to stay Central location at a great price. Room was cosy, had a small fridge and Tv. Room was very clean with fresh linen and towel and soap was also provided. Will definitely be going back to stay again in the future.

Good for one to two nights great food ideally suited to quick stays
It was a Saturday night. The room was good, but the loud doof doof music went to at least midnight. No good for anyone who does not enjoy thump thump music thru the pillow.
What a terribley unsafe place to stay at.
Do not stay here.
Drive further if you have to to avoid this place, at all costs.
However the food was really good, so stop by all means but after the meal, drive on.
What a run down room. Like a prison cell. The shower drained down a make shift drainage channel which wasn’t sealed properly so wet the whole bathroom floor which I slipped over on. No bath mat provided. The blanket looked dirty and the bed had hair in it. The noise from the cooler outside my window kept me awake and when I finally got to sleep a big truck came in around 3am beeping and noisy and woke me up again . Couldn’t close the bathroom louvres as they are broken so street noise was a lot too. Mould on the wall and all in all just a grimy feel. Bar tender said he’d be with me but then got chatting to someone who walked in after me, then served several beers before he could bother to check me in. Not worth the $100, I should have slept in my car.
I think the venue operator should state in their accommodation ads that they have live music which may disrupt your sleep, but apart from that the accommodation was adequate for my needs. Thank you
Small, basic but ok. Comfy bed, clean linen and towels. The door onto the verandah was a bonus.
Took me back to last century and visits to country towns.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was so small and depressing. The bathroom was gross. I feel sorry fir the lovely staff. Can a pub ruin a roadt? The answer is yes. The chef must not like vegetables, they were cold and watery. Such a shame.
