The Marlin is one of those modern type Moxy style hotels where there's a reliance on automation and less of a human touch if you get what I mean? It was fine for location and the room was fine and clean and the bed comfortable. I was annoyed that I asked for a wakeup call twice and they failed to call me the first time and was late the second time.

The cozy King room was nice but storage and living out of a suitcase for 3 days was an issue. Staff was all very friendly, not a huge fan of self-service kiosks When traveling with a group

I’ve stayed here about six times and it’s a lovely hotel in a great area. My big complaint is how much they try to squeeze more money out of you. Check out is 11am- too early. But it’s all to see you their ‘snooze packages’ they advertise all over and will email you about. Check in is 3pm. Before this they’ll send you an email saying you can get early check in for the discounted price of €30 instead of 60. Total sham. In November I checked in early for free after nearly paying the 30. This time I checked in for 20 before 1pm. They have check in kiosks and staff will just direct you to them to check in. Can’t rate the staff as in all my stays I’ve barely spoken to one person. Great hotel but please stop the money grabbing and be more transparent.

I’ve stayed at the Marlin around six times now it’s a lovely hotel in a great location. However they are obsessed with trying to get more money out of you. The 11am checkout is too early but they want you to buy a ‘snooze package’ which are advertised all over to stay longer. Check in is 3pm, they’ll email you offering early check in for €30 saying it’s usually 60. Don’t take it. I’ve previously checked in early for free and this time it was only €20 before 1pm. Great hotel but sick of all the money squeezing

I was given an accessibility room without being told. I did not require an accessibility room. The tv did not work. It was awkward using a communal ironing room. We checked in at 5am, walking past the check in clerk who was outside smoking. We then waited for him to come in and he then went into the back room without acknowledging us.
