The gentleman checking us in was very friendly and efficient. The rooms were very clean. You could tell the hotel was a little older but had been updated with fresh paint and carpet. I was impressed with the cleanliness as sometimes the pictures on the website look good and then when you get there you realize the pictures are years old and there is wear and tear etc... This was not the case. The lobby area is small and we did not explore the hotel much to see if there were other areas that larger groups could congregate and hang out. The pool was also small but we did not use it. We were in town for college visits and it was perfect for what we needed.

Great location for shopping and dining, easy parking, friendly staff, and a clean room. The king bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the shower head. It was old, and it could not be adjusted adequately. The interior of the hotel is well maintained, but the exterior needs a new coat of paint. Overall, a good choice.
