Overall the stay was great. The bed was a little hard, but that's a personal preference. Had an issue with the refrigerator and tried to call to front desk for help, but no answer. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for help. The front desk person didn't seem too concerned even after I told her that I had leftovers that I didn't want to spoil. We had two people to come up and fix the refrigerator shortly after. They were helpful and kind, they offered to take my food downstairs to the refrigerator. I very much appreciated that.
The Double Tree Hilton at Queensferry is typical of a large faceless sterile hotel where the staff don’t show any care. Unfortunately I was on 6th floor (top floor) which received the full effects of Storm Amy. Nobody enquired about the quality of my stay under the circumstances.
Possibly wouldn’t return.
Everything was great except for the towels provided. First night was excellent. Second night we had 2 bath towels and 2 facecloths and a bath mat. Third night we had 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 2 facecloths and a bath mat. I called for more towels one night but they never came.
