Excellent stay for our family of 4! We loved the Dalmahoy and the grounds a short drive away from Edinburgh, this area was one of the highlights of our UK trip! We enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast most days before exploring the city of Edinburgh, we loved using the fitness center and soaking in the pool, sauna and steam room, plus we drove some golf balls and had dinner and a pint in the pub. The staff made us feel very welcome and were both friendly and professional. We had excellent customer service from Rebecca at the front desk, and Jeffie and Archana in the dining room. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay, loved the site. All of the staff were professional and pleasant. There was comfortable seating at various locations around the hotel that we were able to enjoy. The food and drinks were also lovely. Room was clean and spacious.

Hotel areas are lovely clean and nice decor. The rooms are ok but bathrooms need refurbished. There was a piece of dried food on our bathroom floor so cleanliness could have been better. We didn’t use the hotel pool but it’s nice to have that option. Hat

The hotel is in an amazing area, its so nice and peaceful. The bed was a lot firmer from what I would usually like and the walk down to the bus stop at the bottom is all on the main driveway road, but other than that its an amazing place, with fantastic staff

First of all being able to hear the guest upstairs pass water while he or she was in the bathroom was a bit off putting when trying to relax in the evening or during the night and the morning as well,also when at breakfast i asked for a 3 egg cheese omelette and what an embarrassment it was when̈ she brought out three omelettes

Incredibly disappointing service. Staff that do not care at all, they don’t communicate with each other. No basic manners - the receptionist Celia was rude, inattentive and dismissive. So disappointing as the hotel and the grounds and the restaurant was absolutely stunning, but never will be staying again as this was the worst service I have received in almost a decade. Sincerely teach your staff to be polite, act as if they want to be there and to not mutter to their colleagues about guests. A simple smile and pleasantry and a desire to actually help solve a guests problem would be appreciated.
