We gave this hotel two chances, but I will not stay here again. Both times, they assigned us a room upstairs, even though I had informed them that I needed a ground-floor room because I use a wheelchair.
During our most recent visit, we stopped by before check-in to remind them of my request. However, when we returned later that night, the staff member told us there were no ground-level rooms available. He offered to help us upstairs to our room, but we explained that we could not do that, regardless of assistance.
He then mentioned there was a ground-level room, but the air conditioner wasn't working. We didn't mind about the AC; we just wanted a place to sleep. He insisted that we consider the upstairs room again, but we declined. After checking his computer one last time, he found a double bed on the ground level, which we accepted since we only needed a place to rest.
Unfortunately, our room was located at the back of the motel and required navigating a set of stairs, though there was a small ramp to assist me. My wheelchair barely fit on it, making it a bit scary, but thankfully I was too tired to care.
The room itself was dirty and not well maintained. The bed needs to be replaced, but I believe they are planning renovations and our room is on the list. I cannot recommend this hotel, especially for anyone with mobility issues.
