I couldn't complain about the hotel at all. The location of this place is what sets it truly apart. We could see the castle from our window and only steps away from downtown Edinburgh.

Very atypical of an old European city hotel. Large bright and roomy with newer amenities and fantastic location. £50 cab ride from airport but once your landed in your room the whole of olde Edinburgh is at your disposal by foot. Great product at a great price point!

Room was very good - clean and spacious and it was good to have a bath in the ensuite and not just a shower. All the staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. A nice touch was the provision of mulled wine and mince pies each evening

My stay was ok. This was the 5th hotel I had checked into during this trip and was the first hotel to make an issue of me being a little early for check in (which was supposed to be after 3pm) I was allocated a disabled room which again was just ok

Hotel doesn’t advertise parking is very little and first come first serve. Also on the booking app it has check in for 2:30 and on the day we were told it is anytime between 2:30 and 3 - we weren’t given keys until 3 which made us late for other bookings. You can hear everything even in your room whether that be someone walking outside the door, the people next to your room or even people in the floor above you walking. Wouldn’t say the additional price for castle view room is justified either. Won’t recommend to anyone and will not be back.

Convenient hotel close to all the city has to offer. Clean and tidy rooms, a little on the small side. Great breakfast option, although would have liked to pay less as I only eat continental breakfast it’s one price £18 pp (kids half price) incl hot. Comfy beds, gorgeous view of the castle!
