Hotel room needs new carpet -stained - will happen in august. No places to hang clothes or towels other than small rails on bathroom and toilet doors or wardrobe. Sink too shallow and no way of keeping water in. No room cleaning until late afternoon. Good restaurant and bar, staff very friendly, good breakfast.

I booked under the belief there was a sofabed in the room. It was essentially a sofa with another sofa underneath. So it was just like sleeping on a single sofa. I had to ask for bedding and was provided with a duvet. No undersheet or pillows. The temperature in the room was unbearably hot meaning that we did not sleep at all. Would neither recommend nor stay again.

Typical City Centre hotel. No view from window, may as well not have had one. Sauna and Pool were good. Didn’t do breakfast as it was too expensive. Found local cafes for that 👍🙂

It’s a hotel. Parking was nothing short or interesting. It’s centrally located. Easy walk to many places. The room was a bit cut up but still livable. Lovely coffee service. Good shower.

First two nights we stayed in an executive suite wonderful, good location, beautiful views of the castle. We moved as part of a tour to a much smaller room with a leaky overhead shower head Biggest drawback was the lack of air-conditioning hotel was stifiling hot every night.

This hotel is in a good spot to check out Edinburgh and is close to the hop on hop off bus. There is a pool and a hot tub so bring a bathing suit. They also have a decent breakfast, I thought it was a little high but they have a waffle maker. Places in town close around 10/11pm so late night food options are slim. No individual room temperature control.

Very friendly staff and room immaculate and clean. Pool a bonus too! But go at quiet times because it's very small. Only gripe is that windows don't open and hard to control temperature in room - we were boiling at night 😔
