Great Experience

This was our first stay here, and it was a great experience. The room was immaculate and super cozy. The staff was very polite and helpful. This will be our hotel for all future OKC trips!

Location is great! Lots of dining options along the canal. Room was spacious and had kitchen amenities. Breakfast was good. Downside: some furniture was very worn and the daily parking rate seemed quite high to me. Overall though, an enjoyable stay.

Nice but the Odor

My rate is based on the smell of the room. It was not pleasant. The odor was through out the 6th floor. The personnel was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. Parking security was good also.

Staff were all so friendly and helpful, the only concern I had was the condition of the property. Room 303, the bathtub gets clogged right away after turning on the shower. Room phone did not work, the old spring mattress was uncomfortable; I literally sunk right into the middle (needs replacement asap). Lastly, the Wi-Fi didn’t work for any of my families devices. This property is in a prime location right in the heart of Bricktown so easy access to all the entertainment. I did really like that the property had security on the night of events at the stadium across the street. Security made sure all guests were able to secure parking even with visitors attending the event near by. Overall, property was ok, just needs a major refurbishment soon.

I normally like staying at a Residence Inn but this time I was disappointed. First, the computer went down when we got there and we were unable to check in for 2 hours. Then we had reserved a king suite and were given one with two full size beds. When I went to get it switched they were unable to give us that type of room because they weren’t clean and the housekeeping staff had left for the day. This is a nice area in OKC. But the hotel was definitely worn. Paint cracking and peaking in the bathroom and very worn out furniture in the suit. I thought they might comp the room with the difficulty we had but all they did was give us free parking. On a lighter note Nate, the front desk clerk, kept his cool. Even when those of us waiting were getting impatient he stayed calm. There are way too many decent hotels in this area to stay at this place again.

The hotel, room, and staff were all great. It was extremely noisy outside due to hot rods and racing in the middle of the night. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but just keep that in mind. I think if you had a room on the river side of the hotel it would be more quiet.

I loved everything about this hotel. However, my room seemed to be located near the building’s air conditioning system, and it was extremely noisy at night. I’m not a sensitive sleeper at all, but the noise was loud enough to keep me awake. Other than that, I was very satisfied with my stay.

So-so stay

A hotel should not get a free pass just because of its brand recognition or location, each hotel has to provide excellent service to earn that reputation. At this hotel, the staff was not friendly to the right level, they were not welcoming or giving a vibe of wanting to make customers feel comfortable and welcome, They were basically indifferent. And the hotel room was a bit shabby overall, a cabinet door was off its hinges, plumbing was poor, etc. Mattress was not super comfortable either.
