Very old property in the middle of updates according to signage throughout but no other indicator of improvement. We were told to park in the back. We had our car broken into and robbed within 10 minutes of arrival and filed a police report. Cameras could not be immediately accessed so we had to leave town with no resolution. After this process we moved our car to the front since we were told the front desk “is manned 24 hours”. More on this later. We also noted the back door closest to our room was never actually locked, in spite of messages posted to the contrary. Y’all, the breakin and the unsecured door did not contribute to a restful night. Rooms were okay- for their age. We had to bring the febreeze in for a musty smell and to aid non functional bathroom fans. Candy on the floor and dusty cabinets left us wondering if the cleaning was done thoroughly? At check out we left our key card on the ***unmanned front desk on the way out to the car. We came back in the lobby several times for ice and trash disposal as we prepared to leave. I could hear a bell alert in the office each time I reentered. I finally needed a bathroom break and just reclaimed my unattended key card from the ***still unmanned front desk. Stay at your own risk. We won’t risk it in future.

Everything was excellent. Stayed here a year ago. That is why I came back.

I did not realize the upper bedrooms had very little ceiling space so it was a bit tough for my 6ft son to navigate that sleeping area, especially since he had hurt one of his knees. Hard to crawl around and he was not able to sit up in bed. I was also disappointed we could not get any of the Olympic games on the TV. Maybe I just did not know how to operate it for local stations. It was clean and well stocked for our stay and if it was just my husband and I staying I would rent it again.

My family checked in on a Thursday night. I didn’t receive the code to get into the gate. We had to wait until someone let us in. When we got inside the place was dirty and hot. There was no guide book and we needed a PIN number to adjust the thermostat. I sent messages and called, I didn’t get a response. My family slept on our towels because the blankets were filthy. Friday I was able to get the gate code from the office, because it was so hot and dirty we stayed at a hotel. There was no communication until I sent a message that we checked out. The host apologized and said he didn’t have access to his phone for 11 days and apologized, he said he should of blocked the date and would give us a free weekend to make up for it and I asked for a partial refund. I thought it was outrageous to pay for a cleaning fee. Once again, I didn’t hear from him. I sent him a reminder and just got the runaround. Don’t bother, stay somewhere else.

It was my fifth time going to this resort and a great experience.
