Lovely stay here last weekend. Room had a nice canal view, it was clean and warm, bed comfortable with a nice cosy duvet. Pillows could have been a bit softer but I slept well, nevertheless. It was a lovely big room, tea and coffee provided.A nice modern bathroom with a walk in shower. Shampoo, shower gel and soap was all Dove products. Had a few problems getting the key card to work but otherwise I cant complain, Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and served nice and hot. Staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. I will be staying here again next year. Definitely recommend tthis place.

Excellent hotel and every single staff member was lovely and very welcoming. Never experienced such lovely staff service in a hotel chain. Room was very clean and the pool was a welcomed addition. Would definitely stay again. Staff made a fuss of the children and gave them sweets for Halloween which was not expected but very kind and the children loved it! Only a short drive to Cheshire Oaks and the hotel was set back around the water, with lovely views.

Warm welcome. Large rooms, comfy bed. Pillows not great but I could have asked for feather ones. Breakfast choice good and tasty. They do need to improve the coffee, very weak. Dinner on one night which was good. Friendly staff. Parking plentiful. Quiet location with canal and birdlife. Ideal for Cheshire Oaks.

The hotel was clean and generally efficiently run as is typical of the Holiday Inn chain. The debit/credit card system was not available the evening I arrived which was somewhat stressful. The biggest issue though was that I felt cold the whole evening. The room climate control seemed faulty as it didn’t heat my room.

My husband and I had a lovely 3 night stay here. The room was lovely and cosy (it was windy & rainy) and the heating system was amazing. Plenty of room and the bed was very comfy.

Love this hotel - it is close to where we want to visit in Chester, but nice to be by the water so you can stretch your legs after being in the car for hours... the setting is lovely... the restaurant and bar are good. we def look to stay here each time we are up.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a home from home feel, which was great. Breakfast was really good with friendly and accommodating serving staff. Rooms were good and well furnished. The only a thing I would say is the bed mattress could be more supportive but overall a first class hotel with first class staff. I would definitely visit again!

It was our first time in Holiday Inn but it won’t be our last. Everyone made our stay very welcoming (it was my husbands birthday) We couldn’t fault the staff they were so friendly and helpful. We loved Josie in the restaurant for our breakfast!

As this room seemed to be a disabled room i found the saftey rail in the shower to be rusty, the air con wasn't at its best & the 2 fans were not much good, although the staff were very welcoming & helpfull, i found the smell from the water outside was rather off putting, the bar was well stocked with good service

Every member of staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were “on it” clearing tables getting food restocked. Getting drinks. Room was spotless. The swimming pool and sauna not rated at all. This is outside the hotel. Ignore this and I can’t fault the hotel. Looks all modern in breakfast area bar and reception. Would stay again.
