Wanderlust Vacation Home at Windcliff by RedAwning

Larimer County Approval Number: 20-NCD0107

High above Estes Park, tucked gracefully into the slopes of Ram's Horn

Mountain, lies a place where the spirit of the Rockies surrounds you at every

turn. Wanderlust is more than a vacation home -- it's an invitation to pause,

to breathe, and to let your soul stretch into the boundless beauty of Rocky

Mountain National Park, framed perfectly from your windows.

The Wanderlust Experience

From the moment you step inside, Wanderlust feels like a mountain sanctuary.

Vaulted, beamed ceilings soar overhead, while warm aspen wood accents and a

wall of native stone create a seamless connection between indoors and out. The

living room's floor-to-ceiling windows transform every sunrise and sunset into

a private work of art, painting the peaks and valleys in ever-changing light.

Here, evenings are made for gathering: a crackling wood-burning fireplace,

plush recliners, and a home theater system invite laughter, storytelling, or

quiet reflection as the mountains stand sentinel beyond the glass.

A Kitchen with a View

The heart of Wanderlust is its well-appointed kitchen -- where sleek glass-top

cooking meets rustic mountain charm. Every detail is here, from modern

appliances to thoughtful utensils, so you can craft everything from hearty

breakfasts to celebratory dinners. A long breakfast bar invites casual

mornings with coffee as dawn spills over the peaks, or evenings where wine and

conversation flow as easily as the mountain air.

Rest, Renewal & Romance

The ensuite master retreat is nothing short of a dream. Gaze out upon the

soaring Mummy Range, rising more than 13,000 feet, as you slip into serenity.

The soaking tub calls you to linger, to let time slow, and to lose yourself in

the grandeur just beyond your window.

On the lower level, the second king suite opens directly to a patio where a

private hot tub awaits. Few moments compare to the hush of mountain twilight

as you soak beneath an endless canopy of stars, the sheer face of Ram's Horn

Mountain illuminated in moonlight. It's an experience that lingers long after

you leave.

For families or friends, the bunk room brings a playful charm -- a place for

kids to dream of tomorrow's adventures while the grown-ups share one more

glass of wine by the fire.

Great view and location

Wonderful location with a great view of the mountains. There was a telescope pictured in the property description that was missing, otherwise everything was great.

Never a Windcliff property again

The house was fine except there was no cell phone service and very little internet service. The home was advertised as "Dog Friendly" but when we informed them that we would be bringing our dog we were told dogs were not allowed (although the owners had a dog waste bag dispenser attached to the deck). There is one road into the development and on one of our days there they put fresh oil on the road without notifying us so our car was covered with black oil and gravel. When checking in we asked about getting a pack n play for the baby for our last night there and were told one would be available, were told to pick it up in the office on Friday afternoon but when we arrived we were told they had none. Kevin in the office was very rude and unhelpful. After much back and forth and the threat of a bad review, one finally appeared. All-in-all, the Windcliff management made our stay difficult.

Great Views!

Our family visited here and loved the views. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the coffee choices. The snow on the last night (8inches) was beautiful! We hope to come back in the future!
