The room was spacious and had everything I needed, the loveseat was quite comfy. It was within easy walking distance of everything I wanted to do with my kiddo as well. Having the kitchenette was important though, because the continental breakfast was extremely limited with few protein options and very fruit and carb heavy and not nearly enough fiber as well, not diabetic friendly by a pretty substantial margin...but a lovely local market opens at 9 am across the street and they met my needs. For the location and price point I was pretty pleased, given I could do my own food prep the served breakfast was more of a mild inconvenience than anything dire.

We arrived after the stated check in time; the room was not ready. The bathroom counter tops had been "wiped" but only around the soap dish and tissue box, meaning, nothing was moved for cleaning. So the countertop was dirty.

We always enjoy staying here. Bonus laundry facilities are free to use. Just need to bring or buy detergent. Staff if friendly, free breakfast is typical free breakfast.

The Hilton Home 2 Suites is a nice, utilitarian option for staying in Eugene. A lot roomier than your average hotel room, of course, and having a kitchen with microwave makes it convenient. It's a noisy location, but that's downtown Eugene, with its many challenges. .

The first room I was giving had a very noisy refrigerator and I was moved. The second room had dirty dishes on the shelves and dirty utensils in the drawers. When I checked out, there was no front desk person, just an apologetic breakfast server. I'm not sure my room was cleaned, slept in my clothes. I won't return on my next trip to Eugene.

The hotel is nice and pretty, unfortunately we got a room with hairs in the shower, dirty and used pillows, no body wash or conditioner and al the carpets were disgusting. The staff was very polite, understanding and friendly so I think they have a lot of room for improvement.
