Booked a Jacuzzi tub room, was put in a non Jacuzzi tub room. Talked with front desk & was moved. Front desk was helpful and gave us a room that had to be manually unlocked- as the key card contraption was faulty. The room was clean, but the floor was sticky and had visible sticky spots (honestly, i would assume concentrated cleaner not diluted enough). We turned the tv on and that was as far as the remote worked. Had to youtube how to manually turn it off.
As we were just nodding off to sleep, we hear a drip drip drip. We get up to check the bathroom, assuming the shower is leaking, and walk into a literal puddle of water leaking from the room above us.
We call downstairs and were told they weren't authorized to transfer us and to call the direct room number. We figure it a miscommunication because we used our cellphone to call (we couldnt find the room phone), so we walk downstairs, explain the situation, and are handed an armful of towels to clean up the water ourselves, and a promise that note will be left for the morning.
Upon checkout, we were informed no note was left.
The hotel was pet friendly, as evidenced by the huge pile of dog excrement my partner stepped in while unloading the car.
And the Jacuzzi tub was honestly a relaxing experience before my early morning appointment with my vascular surgeon.
