It took 40 years but I finally made it to university!😂
The room was a standard dorm room with basic facilities. And a wonderful view from the 13th floor. And as it was after the end of the term it was very quiet and empty.
All you can eat breakfast included, so a great start to the day.
Stayed again at the venue but this time midweek the only small criticism I have is that they chose not to do filter coffee jugs at breakfast which was disappointing as was very welcome at the weekend when clearly more guests were staying. I would however suggest just keeping one jug on the go in mid-week would have been nice
Good couple of nights stay. Price good, clean room, fantastic view and breakfast was excellent. Staff nice and helpful. Within walking distance of the graduation ceremony 👍
This property is student accommodation and is very good value for money. It isn't, and doesn't pretend to be 4 star, but works well and has all the basics.
There weren't any lifts in the block I was in, but staff were happy to help with cases.
As it was outside term time, there were no buses on the campus, which is hilly.
I hadn't realised my stay coincided with Graduation fortnight and so on occasion I found parking hard. On the whole good value for money.

The University Accommodation was very clean and well cared for. The Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and very acceptable.
You do need to bring all your own essentials as toiletries are limited to hand soap. Don’t forget a hairdryer if you need one. Breakfast was most appealing.
We chose this accommodation for convenience for our son's graduation.
It was great that we could leave the car before checking in and use a room to change in too.
The check in time was very strict, we understand probably because there are so many rooms to get ready during graduation but when it turned 3pm we were told it might take a bit longer. Just wondering if maybe more staff are needed at this time? There was only a few minutes delay in the end
The room itself was basic but clean and the bed comfortable. It was very hot but we did see we could borrow a fan if needed.
The shower wasn't really big enough for my husband's stature of 6.5 as he was unable to shower without the curtain sticking up him.
It was great to have tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. It would just have been nice to have had enough for 2 drinks each to start with. You can ask for more at reception but we hadn't realised there wasn't enough for two and reception was a walk outside away and it was raining.
In summary choosing this accommodation was convenient and reasonably priced so ideal for the one night. Staff were friendly and the breakfast plentiful and tasty with a great view to enjoy. Would definitely recommend to others looking for somewhere to stay for graduation.
Everything was great
Lovely room double bed on suite and spotless
Highly recommend it

An overpriced student room designed for one
I should start by saying this is a hall of residence and so we were not expecting a boutique hotel. But, the price suggested that it would be somewhat better than a room designed for one person with a double bed shoved in the middle. The bed was in fact comfortable but there was barely enough room to walk round it. The bathroom was really just a wet room where everything got wet and the shower curtain stuck to you. The toilet paper was like sand paper. It was very hot but, if you left the windows open to cool it down, it was very noisy. There were absolutely no concessions to the fact that we were paying guests rather than students. In short you are a captive audience and therefore the prices are inflated.
