The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely unbeatable — close to everything we wanted to see and do. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with delicious options and attentive service. And surprisingly, the best coffee we had in Florence was right at the hotel! The only downside was the room itself — it was quite small and lacked natural light. The bathroom also had very limited counter space; adding a small shelf for toiletries would make a big difference.

Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Florence Our stay in this centrally located Florence hotel was absolutely delightful. The staff went above and beyond—always warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We loved the thoughtful touches, like complimentary water, fresh fruit, and fruit drinks available in the hallway throughout the day. The hotel really should be a 5 star hotel. We travel to Florence twice a year and could not be more impressed with this hidden gem. It is in a small private courtyard and a five minute walk to the Duomo. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are impeccably clean and the maid service is outstanding. There is a restaurant across the courtyard that we dined at twice even though we have friends that own restaurants in Firenze. We are accustomed to 5 star experiences with Ritz, Auberge, and Four Seasons and we gave this hotel a try because we were in a hurry, We got really lucky!

Location & Amazing Staff

The doorman, Umberto, was the top of his profession. We were lost driving into the city - they sent a person 6 blocks over to walk us down the streets to the front of the hotel. The hotel is lovely and the best location. I've stayed in Florence many times - I will return to this hotel from now on.
