Ideal Florence hotel for the city break

Superb hotel right in the centre of Florence no more than a 10 minute walk to all the famous sites. Hotel really clean and staff super friendly. We had 3 teenagers with us and the family room was perfect had a double and the a room next door with 3 singles.

Hotel lobby is not on the ground floor. Entrance is a bit difficult to locate. Also, entrance is not welcoming. However, if you make it to the lobby on an upper floor…You will LIKE it. Public areas & rooms are old European style. Hotel is clean and well cared for. Bathrooms are modern and functional. My room was LARGE and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and selections ample. Hotel is on Piazza Republica. The music in summer plays until about 2am. I loved it. If you want peace & quiet=ask for a room NOT facing the piazza. LOCATION is Very Good for all touristic purposes. Bed was excellent.

We only stayed for one night but the staff was very accommodating and helpful. We arrived well before check in, but our rooms were ready, then the next day we checked out and had a tour booked and it was no problem for them to store our luggage. We especially liked the sitting area with its antique items. We would gladly return.

Great stay, superb location. Good breakfast, good A/C. Just would’ve been nice if there was a hotel bar so we could sit in the comfortable lounge at the end of the evening in the hotel with a night cap.

Good location for site seeing

Hotel Pendini is situated in a great part of town within short walking distances to almost everything you would like to see in Florence. Very convenient to shops, food, and the sites and sounds of beautiful Florence, Italy. The hotel was very clean, though the room we got felt a little cramped, it was still well appointed if in the area to really be outside of the space. If we had been on the main level with reception we would have likely enjoyed the main space more often which offered some complementary drinks and snacks. The breakfast was good, but the room was small so there wasn’t always a place to sit and I found that it was so busy in there it was hard to relax. On only one morning was I asked by staff if I would like a cappuccino. I also didn’t find reception to be overall friendly or warm. We had been to two other hotels at this point in Amalfi and Rome and compared to the friendly atmosphere there this did not compare. I was able to get a massage one day a the spa on site and that was lovely. All in all a good hotel for the price and location was excellent.

Such a lovely, boutique hotel right in the center of Firenze. The family suite was perfect for our family of 5 as it’s so rare for each person to get an actual bed. The breakfast was very good with many unique choices. 100% would stay here again.

Hotel Pendini was my favorite hotel that we stayed in. The breakfast was excellent. They have a wonderful lounge with small bites to eat and drink. You can sit and relax. Elevators available. Very nicely appointed hotel. Great location to get out and walk around. Staff very personable. 5 stars in my book!

I would highly recommend this hotel. We have been to Florence many times and tried this hotel for the first time. We had a family suite which consisted of two bedrooms and one bathroom. It was perfect for our family of five. Close to everything and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious.
